Call to Remembrance – serene choral music at St Andrews Church Bedford
November 7 @ 19:30 - 21:10
£14
This concert provides a wonderful reflective and serene sequence of choral music. It includes Renaissance gems by Jacquet de Mantua, Richard Farrant and Francisco Guerrero. We will celebrate the work of Britten (died 1976) and, at this important time of the year, include music which provides a tribute to those who have given their lives in service. Join us for great pieces by C.H.H. Parry, written in response to the first world war, a piece by Nils Greenhow and a premiere of God so loved the world by Jamie W. Hall.
